Licenses

Nothing expires quietly.

Business licences, health permits, liquor licences, food handler cards, and alcohol service certifications, each with an owner, a renewal date, and a reminder that starts early enough to actually do something about it.

0 lapsed permits across the fleet last year

One register per location

Business licence, health permit, liquor licence, fire and occupancy certificates, sign permits, grease trap and waste contracts. Each with the issuing authority, the number, the expiry, and the document itself.

Renewals that start early

Reminders fire on your lead time, not the week before, and escalate to a second owner if the first one goes quiet. A liquor licence renewal is a two-month job, not a two-day one.

Food handler cards, per person

Every employee card tracked against the jurisdiction that requires it, with expiry warnings routed to the employee and their manager. Scheduling refuses to roster an expired card onto a food station.

Alcohol service compliance

Server training certificates, minimum ages, service hours, and per-jurisdiction rules enforced at the terminal. ID prompts, drink limits, and cutoffs, with every manager override recorded.

Inspection ready

Temperature logs, cleaning schedules, corrective actions, and training records assembled into what an inspector actually asks for, with photos and timestamps already attached.

Proof after the fact

An append-only record of who checked what and when, so a challenged sale or a failed inspection can be answered with evidence rather than recollection.

Licenses questions

What kinds of licences and permits does Prinvia track?

Business licences, health and food service permits, liquor licences, fire and occupancy certificates, sign and sidewalk permits, waste and grease contracts, plus any custom document type you add. Each carries an issuing authority, number, expiry, owner, and the scanned document.

Does Prinvia track food handler certifications for staff?

Yes. Each employee card is tracked against the jurisdiction requiring it, with expiry reminders to both the employee and their manager. Scheduling will not roster someone with an expired card onto a station that requires one.

How does Prinvia help with alcohol compliance?

Server training certificates and their expiries are tracked per employee, and the terminal enforces ID prompts, per-guest drink limits, minimum server age, and service hour cutoffs by jurisdiction. Every manager override is logged with a reason.

Will this help during a health inspection?

Yes. Temperature logs, cleaning schedules, corrective actions, and staff training records are kept together with photos and timestamps, so the evidence an inspector asks for is assembled rather than hunted for.

Is this the same as SOC 2 or GDPR compliance?

No, and they are handled separately. Licenses & Permits covers the regulatory obligations of operating a venue. Prinvia's own data security posture, including its SOC 2 Type II report, is documented on the Security page.
