Terms of Service
The agreement between your business and ours: what we provide, what you agree to, and how either side ends it.
Last updated 1 August 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern use of the Prinvia platform, hardware, and this website. By placing an order or using the service you agree to them on behalf of your organisation.
2. Subscriptions
Subscriptions are charged per location. Single Site subscriptions run month to month. Multi-Unit and Enterprise subscriptions run for the term on the order form and renew for the same term unless either side gives 30 days notice. Prices do not escalate automatically at renewal.
3. Payment processing
Where you use Prinvia for payment processing, the applicable card network rules and the processing schedule on your order form apply in addition to these terms. Processing is optional and may be cancelled without cancelling the subscription.
4. Your data
You keep ownership of everything you put into the platform. We process it only to provide the service, to meet a legal obligation, or on your written instruction. On termination you may export it for 90 days, after which we delete it.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to break the law or a card network rule.
- Do not attempt to access another customer's data or degrade the service for others.
- Do not resell access without a written partner agreement.
- Keep credentials confidential and tell us promptly if they are compromised.
6. Availability
We target 99.9% monthly availability for the platform, excluding scheduled maintenance announced at least 72 hours ahead. Where an Enterprise order form includes a service level agreement, that document governs.
7. Hardware
Hardware purchased through Prinvia carries a 24-month warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Damage from misuse, liquid, or unauthorised modification is excluded.
8. Confidentiality
Each side agrees to protect the other's non-public information with at least the care it uses for its own, and to use it only for the purpose of this agreement.
9. Liability
Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Each side's total liability is capped at the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Termination
Either side may terminate for material breach not cured within 30 days of written notice. On termination you stop using the service and we make your data available for export for 90 days.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and the courts of Travis County have exclusive jurisdiction.
