Three commitments with a number attached to each, and a plain note about which of them we cannot yet independently verify.

Energy

Hospitality runs hot. Software should not add to it.

Platform workloads run in regions on carbon-aware grids, and batch jobs are scheduled to follow low-carbon hours rather than convenience.
Hardware we sell is specified for repair: standard fixings, replaceable batteries and drives, and published part numbers.
Terminals we take back are refurbished and redeployed, or stripped for parts. Nothing we recover goes to landfill as a first option.

The people who run these rooms rarely get the software budget.

Every course on the learning platform is free to any hospitality worker, whether or not their employer is a customer.
Food handler and alcohol server certification tracking is free for single-site operators, because a lapsed card closes a small room and merely annoys a large one.
We publish wage, break, and scheduling rules by jurisdiction as open reference data, so an operator can check the law without buying anything.

Independents lose to chains on back office, not on food.

No setup fee and no minimum term for a single site, so the cheapest way in is not a twelve-month commitment.
Data export is free and complete, in a documented format. Leaving is a decision, not a negotiation.
Our own agent interface is a published specification rather than a private integration, so an independent can be discovered by an AI buyer on the same terms as a group.

We do not currently publish a third-party verified carbon figure. Until we do, treat the energy claims here as our own accounting.

Free tiers are commercial decisions and could change. If they do, existing accounts keep the terms they signed up on.
