Acceptable Use Policy
A short list of things the platform may not be used for, and what happens when it is.
Last updated 1 August 2026
1. Scope
This policy applies to everyone using Prinvia, including your staff and any agent acting on your behalf.
2. Do not
- Break the law, a card network rule, or a licensing condition of your venue.
- Process payments for another business through your account, or for goods you are not licensed to sell.
- Falsify records the platform is relied on to keep, including hours worked, breaks taken, temperature logs, or certification status.
- Attempt to access another customer's data, probe the service for weaknesses without authorisation, or degrade it for others.
- Resell or sublicense access without a written partner agreement.
- Use agent credentials or mandates outside the limits their principal granted.
3. Automated and agent access
Automated access must identify itself, respect published rate limits, and operate under a valid mandate. Agents that exceed a mandate are refused rather than throttled, and repeated attempts may have the credential revoked.
4. Enforcement
We would rather contact you than suspend you. In practice that means notice and a chance to fix the problem, except where the conduct is illegal, threatens the security of the service, or risks other customers, in which case access can be suspended immediately.
5. Reporting
Report abuse to hello@prinvia.com. Suspected security vulnerabilities go through the process on the Security page.
